Redefine Coffee
More Than Coffee.
Wolfox has never been just about coffee. Coffee may be at the heart of what we do, but around it sits a much wider philosophy: to live well, stay curious, move more and make time for one another.
Over the years, we have supported cycling teams, sponsored football kits for children, organised and sponsored the first Brighton Fitness Festival, and promoted marathons across towns and villages in Europe. We will continue investing in sport and activities, particularly for younger generations.
This matters because movement gives us far more than physical fitness. Sport teaches discipline, confidence and teamwork. It creates friendships and gives young people a sense of belonging. At a time when so much of life is spent gaming, scrolling or looking at a screen, even a short break to run, cycle, play football or simply be outdoors can make a real difference to both physical and mental wellbeing.
We are not against technology, nor do we believe everyone must become an athlete. We simply believe life needs balance. Sometimes the most important thing is to put down the phone, step outside and reconnect with ourselves, with other people and with the world around us.
The same philosophy shapes the way we serve coffee.
When I opened Wolfox in Italy, I deliberately moved away from the traditional routine of drinking an espresso quickly while standing at the counter. There is nothing wrong with that ritual—it is deeply rooted in Italian culture—but Wolfox wanted to offer something different.
Our coffee can be enjoyed slowly at a table, in conversation or in a quiet moment alone. It can also be taken away and enjoyed during a walk. What matters is that it becomes a small piece of time dedicated to ourselves, rather than yet another thing consumed while rushing towards the next obligation.
A good life is not built only through grand gestures. It is made from small choices: taking the bicycle instead of the car, joining a local team, encouraging a child to play outside, meeting someone for coffee or simply allowing ourselves ten minutes to pause.
That is what Wolfox stands for. Great coffee, certainly—but also movement, community, wellbeing and a life lived with a little more attention.
And we are only getting started.
